Airplanes.

Big. 

Heavy - flying tin cans.

State of the Art. 

A man.

A lone man.

Pales in comparison.

Yet a man with Heart.

State of the Art. 

A man with Heart. 

Neither can be without the other.

Both will leave together; Depart.

Explanation: 

I took this photo at BWI on 2/18/2023; my family had taken me so that I could take pictures. This is a picture that I have always wanted to take; a person with the airport in the background. It, to me, seems like one of the more common aviation photography photos. And, when I look at the image, I instantly think of loneliness, because it is almost a silhouette of a person, alone, and they are in front of so much hustle and bustle of huge machinery. Therefore, this photo takes the route of a photo that illustrates the importance of both. The man has a heart, can think, and can be compassionate. While, the man could not spread that, could not fly, without the airplane. 

On a personal level, this photo does reflect, a little, how I have had some trouble finding my place in this huge school. And, how I worry about being able to find my place in the world, in the aviation industry, as this insignificant, yet compassionate man demonstrates next to these huge airplanes.
